Fishing Frenzy at a Glance
Fishing Frenzy is a limited-time event for Build A Ring Farm. A pond appears in front of your farm, and you can fish to earn a special currency (Pearls), fill an Aquarium, and unlock exclusive rewards not available during normal gameplay.

1. New Area — The Pond
- A pond now sits in front of your farm
- Finn the Fisher NPC stands by the pond — the event's quest-giver
- First conversation gives you your starting fishing rod (free)
2. New Currency — Pearls 💎
- Earn by: Catching fish
- Spend at: Fishing Merchant — buy rods, bait, and aquarium upgrades
- Bait improves fish bite rates and changes which fish you can catch
3. New System — Aquarium 🐟
- Unlocked after catching your first fish
- Three upgradable stats:

🎣 How to Fish
- Walk to the pond and talk to Finn the Fisher
- Accept his conversation to get your first fishing rod
- Open your inventory and equip the fishing rod
- Stand at the pond — press and hold the cast rod button (right side of screen)
- Wait for a fish to bite
- When it bites, tap repeatedly through the mini-game to reel it in
🏆 Catching your first fish unlocks the Aquarium — this opens the rest of the event!

🔄 Chum Meter — Farming ↔ Fishing Link
The Chum Meter connects your farm work to fishing:
- Fills by: Rolling seeds, completing contracts, running composters, applying sprays, joining events
- When full:
- Pond restocks with fresh fish immediately
- You get a short fishing boost for better catches
- Strategy: Keep farming even while fishing — the two systems feed each other
